PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and to reduce cost in assembling an extinguisher by simplifying a holding structure of a sealing plate mounted at a front end suction section of a siphon tube to be loaded in a dry chemical extinguisher body. SOLUTION: This siphon tube consists of a hollow elastic holder which is fittable to the siphon tube and the sealing plate of a thin sheet to be fitted into a suction side aperture of this elastic holder. The sealing plate is formed with an annular thick ring part at the outer peripheral end edge of a thin film part and is fitted by the thick ring part into the suction side aperture of the elastic holder. As a result, there is no need for the labor for thread cutting like with the conventional products and the simplification of the structure is made possible. The need for the laborious working, such as welding, adhering or screwing work to the siphon tube is eliminated and consequently the improvement in the workability and cost reduction in assembling of the extinguisher are made possible.
