PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system capable of being easily changed into a passive entry system and a multi-entry system after a general entry system is installed to car itself. SOLUTION: The keyless entry system is composed of a meter unit (a receiver) 200, which has an RF reception section (a receiving section) 202 receiving a transmission signal containing an intrinsic identification code from an electronic key (a transmitter) 100, a control section 201 deciding the identification code received by the RF reception section 202 and a registration code stored in a storage section 204 while outputting an output signal conducting fixed operation in a driving unit (a section to be controlled) 300 when both codes coincide, and a setting terminal 208 capable of changing the function of the control section 201 from the outside and is loaded on the car.
