PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turret of a turret type packaging machine which can smoothly press a product in a pocket and reliably hold the product in the pocket. SOLUTION: In the turret of the turret type packaging machine, each pocket 12 comprises a fixed blade member 14 and a movable blade member 16, and when the product is pressed into the pocket 12, the movable blade member 16 is brought into contact with the product A by a leaf spring 34 at a uniform bearing pressure, and holds the product A between the fixed blade member 14 and itself.
