PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a printer controller and a medium recording the method for controlling a printer controller in which total throughput is not lowered. SOLUTION: The printer controller reads in data inputted from an I/O module 5 through an interpreter module 30, stores the data subjected to image processing in a frame memory 4 and outputs data therefrom. Data input to each I/O module 5 is performed through interruption from a port and data obtained through interruption is written independently in a hard disc 6 through a data buffer 21.
