PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive straight cup grinding wheel member capable of performing machining providing satisfactory surface coarseness efficiently in a short time and forming a curved face having a plurality of curvatures (R) on a workpiece end face and a method and a device for machining a workpiece end face using the straight cup grinding wheel member. SOLUTION: Two kinds of straight cup grinding wheels 8-1, 8-2 having different diameters are arranged on a coaxial shaft like a double inner and outer structure at a tip of one grinding wheel shaft 7. Among both inner and outer straight cup grinding wheels, the straight cup grinding wheel 8-1 on the outer side employs a comparatively coarse mesh for rough machining, and the straight cup grinding wheel 8-2 on the inner side employs a comparatively fine mesh for finish machining.
