PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a fire extinguishing device which immediately ejects water for fir extinguishing when fixtures, such as toilet paper 51, are fired and which stops the ejection of the water for fire extinguishing after discharging of the prescribed volume of the water. SOLUTION: This fire extinguishing device uses a flow meter 21 for metering washing water of a toilet, etc., as a flow meter for metering the water ejected from a shower nozzle 46 by a signal emitted from a sensor 50 which detects the combustion of the toilet paper 51, etc.
