PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the separation efficiency and separation accuracy while reducing the production cost by allowing the opening of a chaff sieve determined by considering the distribution of materials to be treated on the chaff sieve to be suitably regulated while constituting the chaff sieve into a weight- sensitizing type by which the production cost can be extremely reduced. SOLUTION: The chaff sieve 17 mounted on a chaff case 6 is constituted of plural chaff sieve units 17U, and each of the chaff sieve unit 17U is constituted so that the opening of the chaff sieve unit 17U may be regulated by joining a group of chaff lip plates 17A parallelly installed in the chaff sieve unit 17U in the front and rear direction at a prescribed interval to horizontal fulcrums P3 set at each upper end so as to be synchronously and freely turned around the fulcrums. Opening-regulating springs 31 for elastically urging the group of the chaff lip plates 17A to closing sides are installed per each of the chaff sieve units 17U so that the openings of the chaff sieve units 17U may independently be changed according to the weight of the material to be treated on each of the chaff sieve units 17U.
