PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-algal agent. SOLUTION: The antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-algal agent is characterized by containing two kinds of components as effective components, those are a compound represented by general formula (1) (n denotes 5-77 and the average molecular weight of the compound is 250-2,000), being poly[oxyethylene(dimethyliminio)ethylene(dimethylimino)ethylene dichloride] and a compound represented by general formula (2) (m denotes 3-15 and the average molecular weight of the compound is 700-3,300), being polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride.
