PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem for taking time for maintenance, in a conveyor having elongation of chains in the elapsing of time which is necessary to be positioned at the predetermined position. SOLUTION: The conveyor is provided with drive sprockets 43A, 43B and driven sprockets 44A, 44B on which intermittent drive chains 45A, 45B are wound, rotary encoders 55A, 55B for measuring the rotating amounts of the driven sprockets 44A, 44B, and a processing device 61 for processing the measured values of the rotary encoders 55A, 55B as operation support information corresponding to the rotating amounts of the driven sprockets 44A, 44B. The processing device 61 is provided with a setting means for setting the time series chain reference position in the movement of one pitch of the chain intermittent drive, a calculating means for calculating the chain actual position corresponding to the chain reference position on the basis of the measured values of the rotary encoders 55A, 55B, and a calculating means for calculating the deviation between the chain reference position and the chain actual position.
