<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser cutting method and it's apparatus which, blowing out melt efficiently by simple means without increasing assist gas pressure, acquires stable cutting performance. SOLUTION: A laser-torch 4 has a nozzle 7 with an elliptic-shape jet-mouth 6 at the bottom end, the direction of which coincides the long axis of the ellipse with the cutting direction of a work 1. Then laser beams 3 emitted from a laser oscillator 11, which enters a condensing lens 2, thereby deflecting from it's centerline so that the direction of laser beams coincides with the elliptic focus 6a in the backside of the jet-mouth to the cutting direction, irradiates to the work 1 for cutting.</p> |
