The core is made up of three ring-shaped parts or frames (22,23,24) comprising several rings. Each of the frames comprises a broad thick basic ring (22a-24a) and form, in pairs, four of the sides n the hexagonal legs. All upper and lower yokes connecting the legs (25-27) have different shapes but are all built from one basic ring and give all yokes the same total cross-sectional area. An independent claim is included for an inductor of similar construction. |
