The invention concerns a composition based on a pigment support comprising a surface block copolymer, its preparation method and its use as coloured pigment particularly in paints. Said composition is characterised in that it comprises a support based on a pigment and a layer coating at least part of said support and based on a block copolymer including at least a fluorinated block. Said composition is prepared by a method which consists in contacting the support and the block copolymer and in precipitating the copolymer on the support.
