PURPOSE: Thin buzzer and manufacturing method thereof are provided to achieve a uniform tone by providing a resonating chamber in a rectangular cover while simplifying its structure. CONSTITUTION: A conductive base frame(100) is integrally formed with an iron core(104) at its central portion. An excitation coil(102) is wound around the iron core. The bottom surface of the base frame is attached on a PCB. The base frame is coupled to a bottom surface of a cover(112) by an epoxy resin. A circular recess, into which the excitation coil(102), a magnet(106), a metal ring(108) and a diaphragm(110) are received in order, is formed at the bottom surface of the cover. A resonating chamber is formed in the cover while communicating with the circular recess. The resonating chamber provides a resonating space of the vibrating sound of the diaphragm. The resonating chamber communicates with a sound-emitting hole through which the vibrating sound is output outside.
