ANTI-BACTERIAL FILM FOR FOOD PACKAGING

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is an anti-bacterial film for food packaging which prevents growth of fungi and decay of food in the sealed package thereby improving storage and safety of food in the package. CONSTITUTION: The composition of the film comprises 65-75wt.% of one resin selected from LDPE and LLDPE and 25-35wt.% inorganic antibiotics made by an active bactericidal metal selected from silver, copper and zinc and its support material. These are mixed and extruded into the film. Particularly, the use of silver as an active metal is preferred.
