METHOD FOR PRODUCING EMBRYOGENIC CELLS OF OENANTHE STOLONIFERA DC ON LARGE SCALE

PURPOSE: A method for producing embryogenic cells of Oenanthe stolonifera DC in a large scale is provided, therefore the sprouts of Oenanthe stolonifera DC can be rapidly mass produced. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing embryogenic cells of Oenanthe stolonifera DC in a large scale comprises the steps of: grinding Oenanthe stolonifera DC with a homogenizer; inserting the ground Oenanthe stolonifera DC into a bioreactor; incubating the ground Oenanthe stolonifera DC in MS medium containing 1.0 mg/liter of 2,4-D to produce the embryogenic calluses of Oenanthe stolonifera DC; filtering the embryogenic calluses with 40 and 60 mesh sieves; incubating the embryogenic calluses of Oenanthe stolonifera DC in MS medium containing 3% sucrose, 0.05 mg/liter of ABA, 1.0 mg/liter of BA and 10% of PEG for 2 weeks; and incubating the embryogenic callus of Oenanthe stolonifera DC on urethane sponge containing MS medium with light and ventilation to produce embryogenic cells of Oenanthe stolonifera DC.
