PURPOSE: A freezing/refrigerating unit is provided to connect a capillary tube with a suction pipe by simple operation and to manufacture a product without causing environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: A freezing/refrigerating unit consists of: a compressor(1) discharging high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant gas by compressing low-temperature low-pressure refrigerant gas; a condenser(2) cooling the high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant gas of the compressor with air or water; a drier(3) eliminating water or impurities from the refrigerant gas; a capillary tube(4) changing the refrigerant gas of the drier into low-temperature low-pressure refrigerant gas; an evaporator(5) exchanging heat between the refrigerant gas and ambient air; a suction pipe(7) sucking the refrigerant gas into the compressor from the evaporator; and a connecting member made by metals, for integrating the capillary tube with the suction pipe. The capillary tube is formed integrally with the suction pipe simply. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the freezing/refrigerating unit is cut down.
