THERMOPLASTIC FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic flame-retardant resin composition is provided to produce the resin composition excluding halogen compound causing environmental pollution and having improved mechanical property, thermal stability and flame-retardant ability by comprising specific oxaphosphorane-based compound as a flame-retardant agent. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) 40-95 part by weight of rubber modified styrene resin composed of 20-100wt.% of styrene containing grafted copolymer resin(a1) and 80-0wt.% of another styrene containing copolymer resin(a2); (B) 5-60 part by weight of polyphenylene ether resin as a basic resin(A)+(B) in total 100 part by weight. The composition also includes 2-30 part by weight of styrene containing copolymer resin containing 5-18wt% of acrylonitrile. The composition further contains 0.5-20 part by weight of oxaphosphorane base compound having the following formula(1) (wherein R1 is hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl group or C6-C10 aryl group; R2 and R3 are hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl group and n is 1-3) 0-30 part by weight of phosphoric ester compound having the formula(2) (wherein R4, R5 and R6 are independently hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl group; X is C6-C20 aryl group substituted or not substituted by alkyl group; and m is 0-4).
