PURPOSE: An optical information record medium is provided to raise storage density by using an optical catalyst for accelerating an oxidation-reduction reaction through absorbing a short wavelength light. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(1) is made using an inorganic material or a polymer excellent in light transmittance. A dielectric layer(2) is formed on the substrate(1). An optical catalyst layer(3) and an organic pigment-based layer(4) are formed in sequence on the dielectric layer(2) to form the first material layer(11). The optical catalyst layer(3) are made of a catalyst selected from homogeneous catalysts, inhomogeneous catalysts, laminated catalysts and the like. A dielectric layer(6) is formed on the first material layer(11). The dielectric layers(2,6) are made of an inorganic material to protect the substrate(1) from an optical catalyst, and formed through spin coating or sputtering. A reflective layer(7) is formed on the dielectric layer(6), and an additional layer(8) is formed on the reflective layer(7). |
