PURPOSE: A method for processing a call when a hook flash among IN(Intelligent Network) services is generated in a switching system is provided to minimize an influence in processing a basic call even though a problem occurs at processing a MidCall by performing a process function at processing the MidCall independently of a basic call process block. CONSTITUTION: When a subscriber is calling, the subscriber attempts a hook flash. If a Hon1 is sensed, it is checked that an IN service requirement for a MidCall DP(Detection Point) is satisfied. If so, when the hook flash is received, MidCall information are transmitted to a specialized service block. The specialized service block receives the MidCall information and generates a process for performing the IN. if an additional data is needed, the calling opposite subscriber is hold in order to collect digits. After collecting digits, the digits are transmitted to an SCP(Service Control Point)(110). A child process is generated, and the MidCall service is processed.
