PURPOSE: Provided is an antifouling structure which effectively prevents aquatic organisms from being attached thereto while exposing it to seawater or fresh water for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The antifouling structure contains a thermoplastic composition which comprises 0.1-20 wt.% of compound represented by the formula(1), as a main ingredient. Where, the leaching amount of the compound represented by the formula(1) is 30 mg/cm¬3 and 3 mg/cm¬3 at 25 deg.C and 15 deg.C respectively, 10 days after dipping the structure in artificial seawater. In the formula(1), Y is hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkenyl group or aralkyl group; R is hydrogen atom, halogen atom or alkyl group; R1 is hydrogen atom, halogen atom or alkyl group; and R and R1 are bound each other to form a benzene cycle. |
