PURPOSE: A structure for road signs is provided to enhance the durability of a joint by reducing welded portions and to indicate many directions, in a good-looking external appearance. CONSTITUTION: A road sign structure contains: a support bar(1) erected on the ground; a supporter(3) horizontally connected to the support bar; and a sign plate(5) coupled with the supporter. In detail, the road sign structure consists of: a lower case(40) fixing the lower end of the support bar; many outside grooves vertically formed on the outside of the support bar; an upper insertion groove(9) and a lower insertion groove lengthwise formed in the supporter; a joint(13) coupling the support bar and the supporter with two connecting plates(17) having many locking holes(15) at regular intervals while welded into the insertion groove of the supporter; two combining plates(21) combined with the connecting plates through the locking holes and two installation holes(23); a sign plate connecting hanger(25) slidably inserted into the lower insertion groove, with two plate members(27), a bolt hole(29) and a slide groove(31); and a sign connecting bar(33) slidably inserted into the slide groove of the sign plate connecting hanger, with many bolt holes(35).
