METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING VIRTUAL TRANSMITTER USING RSSI AND CRC

PURPOSE: A method for establishing a virtual transmitter using an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) and CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) is provided to send accurate system information to a DECT(Digital European Cordless Telephone) terminal by selecting a stable channel as an initial virtual transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A DECT base station(300) turns on a system power and initiates. An RSSI and CRC are measured for all carrier slots and data of the RSSI and CRE are stored. The carrier slot that has the highest RSSI average value and the lowest CRC value is established as a virtual transmitter. DECT terminals(400,401,...) are synchronized to the virtual transmitter of the own DECT base station(300), and receive system information of the DECT base station(300). The DECT base station(300) continuously transmits the system information to the virtual transmitter and performs a call service.
