BACK LIGHT UNIT OF LCD USING OPTICAL FIBER

PURPOSE: A back light unit of an LCD using an optical fiber is provided to supply light to a back light unit and improve a quality of picture by using an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber(61) of a back light unit(60) is installed in bundle units. The number of optical fiber(61) corresponds to the number of pixel formed on a polarization plate(81) installed on a back face of an LCD panel(80). A diffusion line(83) is formed to a longitudinal direction of an outer circumference face of the optical fiber(61). The diffusion line(83) has the same length(L1) as a pixel line(82). The light irradiated through an inside of the optical fiber(61) is emitted to the outside of the optical fiber(61) through the diffusion line(83). The emitted light is transmitted to the LCD panel(80) through the pixel line(82).
