PURPOSE: A service for dialing and displaying an originating telephone number based on a voice recognition of a proper name is provided to display the telephone number by means of a digital scheme, and select a caller and accept a call by recognizing the proper name. CONSTITUTION: By selecting a caller independent method and a variable word recognition method which can recognize many and unspecified voices without an addition learning, an inconvenience for memorizing a complex telephone number and a trouble such as a telephone number change notifying and a telephone number searching, are simultaneously solved. Also, by inserting a function for presenting an originating telephone number, the originating telephone number is immediately displayed on a small liquid crystal screen attached to a telephone.
