PURPOSE: A method for duplicating an ETA board of remote access serve is provided to maintain a duplicated state of an ETA and enhance stability of remote access serve by generating a duplicated channel-up message and transferring it to one board when the other board receive a channel-up message, and using pre-set routing information when one board is down. CONSTITUTION: When a new call is incoming, an ETA(1) receives a channel-up message. The ETA(1) generates a normal static route entry. If an ETA(2) board is not down, the ETA(1) transfers a duplicated-channel-up message to the EAT(2). If the ETA(1) receives a channel-down message, it removes a static route entry of a relevant channel. The ETA(1) transfers the pre-set duplicated-channel-down message to the ETA(2). Then, the ETA(2) removes a duplicated static route entry.
