PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power supply for a pump in an emergency power supply facility, in a nuclear power plant or the like. SOLUTION: In an emergency DC power supply facility, an emergency pump operation has heretofore been conducted with a DC motor. However, a current changes in association with the change in the rotary speed of the DC motor, and there is the possibility of overloading trend at a surveillance test. Then, instead of the DC motor, an induction motor is used, and an inverter is interposed for this reason.
