PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchange efficiency by dispersing an inflow working fluid to the entire region of a header tank and uniformizing the flow of the working fluid. SOLUTION: A diverting plate 10 is provided in a header tank 3 on a partitioning wall 6 opposing to an outer wall 6 to which an inflow tube 4 is coupled. The diverting plate 10 is disposed in a state inclined in a streamline direction, and a gap 11 is formed between the tip end of the flow diverting plate 10 and the outer wall 7. Part of an inflow fluid passes through the gap 11 without striking the flow diverting plate 10 and directly flows into a heat exchange section. A remaining fluid strikes the flow diverting plate 10 and diverts toward both sides of the header tank 3. The fluid flowing toward both sides of the header tank is separated from the flow diverting plate 10 and flows into the heat exchange section 1, and further spreads to both sides to uniformize the distribution of the flow.
