DRIVING METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a PDP(plasma display panel) by which a crosstalk can be eliminated and a high quality picture display can be carried out by preventing erroneous discharge in an address period. SOLUTION: In this driving method of the PDP, an addressing process performing a write-in by impressing addressing pulses between third electrodes while impressing successively scanning pulses on a first electrode and a sustaining process sustainging light emission by impressing sustainging pulses between the first electrode and the second electrode after the addressing process are provided and in the addressing process, scanning pulses (PaS1 and PaS2) whose polarities are opposite with each other are made to be impressed on the first electrode and the second electrode in a selected row.
