PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that gold is expensive and silver easily deteriorates as a reflection layer of a recordable optical medium. SOLUTION: The recordable optical medium has a transparent substrate, a dye recording layer on the transparent substrate, a reflection layer formed on the dye recording layer, and a protective layer formed on the reflection layer. The reflection layer contains a mixture of silver and palladium, in which palladium is included by 0.25 to 2.5 at% to the mixture. |
