PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system, a computer, an extension unit, and an interface circuit of the extension unit which can make the device constitution of the whole system small-sized by making it possible to use all extension functions which can be actualized on the system at the same time and making an extension connector small-sized without causing a decrease in operation speed. SOLUTION: This system has a connection interface which converts a specific signal group among plural kinds of signals, transferred between a computer main body(PC) 10 and an extension unit (extension adapter) 20, into serial data and transfers them through a serial bus 103, and also transfers a specific signal group affecting the operation speed directly through a direct signal line 104 directly; while a decrease in the operation speed is suppressed, the number of connection signals between the computer main body and extension unit is decreased and the connector is made small-sized to make the device constitution of the whole system small-sized. |
