PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rate of decreasing switching loss, while restraining increase in complexity in a circuit architecture. SOLUTION: This switching power supply includes a PWM circuit 2, which generates a switching pulse for switching operation and changes the switching pulse, in response to an error in the voltage of a secondary DC output 41 to extract current out of a secondary coil L2 when the FET9 is in off state, a resonance coil L3 of which one terminal is connected to the terminal 33 of a primary coil L1, a resonance capacitor C1 connected to between the terminal 35 of the resonance coil L3 and 0 V level G, and a delay circuit 1 delaying the timing, when the FET9 is turned on.
