PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive support apparatus, ensuring that the speed does not exceed the limit during the drive of vehicle and supports the driving at the speed as close as possible to the speed limit. SOLUTION: In a vehicle drive support apparatus (1.01) for receiving the input of the current speed (1.11) of the vehicle, current position (1.12), speed limit (1.13) and operation instruction by a driver (1.14) and to output a instruction given to a vehicle drive system of the vehicle, there are provided a maximum approach instruction selecting means (1.02) for calculating a forecasted locus from the current position and current speed, for a plurality of assumed instructions at a future point at a constant time and outputting the assumed instruction when the forecast speed at the forecasted locus does not exceed the speed limit and is most approximated thereto as the maximum approach instruction (1.16) and outputting a low order instruction among the operation instruction and maximum approach instruction to be compared as the vehicle instruction (1.15).
