ON-VEHICLE FIXED POWER-TYPE RESISTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle fixed power-type resistor which can prevent the ceramic housing of its resistance body from being broken as the thickness becomes larger by the external forces applied to caulking pawls at the time of fixing the resistance body to the holder by caulking the pawls. SOLUTION: This fixed power-type resistor is composed of the resistance body 1 constituted by injecting cement into the ceramic housing that houses resistance elements and by hermetically sealing the housing, a holding apparatus 20 composed of the holder 4 which houses the resistance body 1 and the caulking pawls 5 integrally formed with the holder 4, and a bracket 24 having holes 21 for passing the pawls 5 or notches 22 for putting-in the pawls 5. The resistance body 1 is held and protected by the holder 4 and bracket 24 by mounting the holding apparatus 20 on the bracket 24 by passing or putting the pawls 5 of the apparatus 20 through the holes 21 or in the notches 22 of the bracket 24 and caulking the pawls 5.
