PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which improves notifiability of incoming and enables a user to see a liquid crystal display part like a wristwatch without holding a telephone set main body in his or her hands when seeing the liquid crystal display part for a long time by connection to the internet. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set is divided into a telephone set main body 1 which is operated in user's hands and an incoming display body 2 set to his or her wrist. The telephone set main body 1 is provided with an outside wide communication part 8 for radio communication to an outside wire, an extension communication part 11 for radio communication to the incoming display body 2, a main CPU 9 provided with an internet connection function based on packet communication besides normal portable telephone functions, a keyboard 6, a speaker 10, and a microphone 12. The incoming display body 2 is provided with an extension communication part 18 for radio communication to the telephone set main body 1, an incoming notice part 19, an incoming response button 17, a color liquid crystal display part 16, and a sub-CPU 20.
