PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the convolution integration of an FIR filter. SOLUTION: Two gradual expressions Y (j+0)=h(0).x(3)+h(1).x(2)+h(2).x(1)+h(3).x(0) and Y (j+1)=h(0).x(4)+h(1).x(3)+h(2).x(2)+h(3).x(1) are calculated. In the case of that calculation, numerical values x(4) and x(2) which appear in two terms of h(0).x(4) and h(2).x(2) are inputted to a correspondent calculation part preceding to numerical values which appear in the other terms for one clock. With such delay, the convolution integration of the FIR filter can be accelerated.
