STEERING PLATE OF CROSS-COUNTRY SKI BINDINGS

A steering plate (1) of cross-country ski (3) bindings (2) enables, especially for the skating technique, anatomically the most natural position of the skier's shin and thigh and thus also of his knee joint during skiing, by which his muscles, ligaments and knee joint are loaded more uniformly and more naturally. The steering plate according to the invention is carried out preferentially as a flat body (4), fitting by its bottom face (5) to the upper face (3') of the ski (3). At least a part of its upper face (6) which is intended for the mounting of the bindings (2) in the axial direction of the ski is tilted against its bottom face (5) or the plane of the gliding surface (8) of the ski (3) for the angle alpha. The tops of the angles of both the left and the right ski (3) are adjacent to each other and the axis of the pivot (7) of the bindings (2) runs parallel to the plane of the upper face (6).
