<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing device which can perform the split editing of a moving image file at a free time position and in a comparatively simple process with no large rewriting jobs required for a data packet. SOLUTION: When a split-edited screen is encoded by the inter-screen estimation, this image editing device decodes once the screen and then encodes it in a mode using no inter-screen estimation. The time stamp value of a data packet storing the re-encoded moving image encoding data is updated by a moving image splitting control part 33 in response to the increment of data code value caused by the re-encoding. Then the contents are never rewritten about a data packet that includes no re-encoded moving image encoding data.</p> |
