PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of flexibly changing the specification of a display control signal in accordance with the request of a display device in an information processor using the display device and also to provide a display controller capable of flexibly changing the specification of a gradation display control system in accordance with the request of a display device in an information processor in which the display controller using gradation levels of liquid crystal is used as a display device. SOLUTION: This display controller saves display data equivalent to one screen and display control signal data in a display data storage device and performs a display operation by reading out side the display data and the display control signal from the storage device and outputting them to a display device. Moreover, the display controller saves gradation display data equivalent to the needed number of frames in a display data storage device and performs a gradation display operation by reading out gradation display data from the storage device outputting them to the display device.
