PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproducibility by detecting the movement of a wool 5 in the specimen introduction part of a gas chromatograph. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 10 monitoring pressure in a specimen gasification chamber 2 is provided. When a judging means 11 judges that the pressure change rate of the inside of the specimen gasfication chamber 2 monitored by the pressure sensor 10 exceeds a threshold value sufficient to move the wool 5, an informing means 12 warns an analyzer to confirm the position of the wool, or the analyzer can take a measure for stopping next automatic injection, and analysis without reproducibility is prevented from continuing without sensing the movement of the wool 5.
