PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered piece capable of improving workability and being stably fastened to a member, and to provide a method for fastening the tapered piece to the member. SOLUTION: The tapered piece 30 has a tapered part 32T having a frustum shaped outer surface, and a collar part 32S formed on an enlarged side end part of this tapered part so as to protrude with respect to the tapered part 32T. An uneven part 34 is provided on a surface of the tapered part 32T.
