PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the phase disturbance quantity occurring in the elastic deformation of a curving type head actuator to a permissible value of servo or below. SOLUTION: The disk memory medium using the curving type head actuator is constituted to attain t>amax.Δh/vmin in such a manner that the product of the values obtained by multiplying the value, which is obtained by dividing the displacement quantity (ΔLh) in the disk circumferential direction of a head position by the elastic deformation occurring in the inertia force per unit acceleration of the curving type head actuator during seeking by the minimum linear speed (vmin) of a disk, and the maximum seek acceleration (amax) of the curving type head actuator is set below the phase disturbance quantity (t) permitted by the servo of the curving type head actuator.
