PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adherence of resin to the outer periphery of a housing case for electronic circuit board when the resin is filled in the case after an electronic circuit board is housed in the case, to enable the case to surely hold the circuit board and, at the same time, to improve the strength of the case, particularly, the opened end of the case. SOLUTION: In this housing case 26, there are formed holding means, such as rails 30, etc., and, on the outer periphery of the opened end 14 of the case 26, an opening 36 having integrally formed catching sections 38 for catching a flowing-out resin 20 is formed. In addition, notches 40 are formed for preventing capillary actions at portions of the opened end 14 to or with which parts (connectors 18) of electronic parts are brought nearer or into contact. Moreover, ribs 42 are formed between the opened end 14 and opening 36 so as to improve the strength of the case 26, particularly, the opened end 14 of the case 26.
