PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladle preheating device which can highly efficiently preheat a ladle by preventing local heating by making a facility, such as a blowing means, etc., unnecessary by providing combustion air by sucking a large amount of air by means of high-pressure air and, in addition, causing a surface combustion burner to make high intensity combustion. SOLUTION: A double pipe is constituted of a premixed air supplying pipe 12 and a premixed gas cooling pipe 18 and an air amplifier 13 having a function of increasing the introducing amount of the combustion air and a mixer 14 are attached to the terminal of the double pipe. The surface combustion burner 15 is attached to the front end side of the premixed gas supplying pipe 12. A plurality of cooling air discharging holes 20 is provided through the premixed air cooling pipe 18 positioned roughly immediately above the burner 15. The air amplifier 13 provides the whole combustion air by amplifying the amount of air by sending high-pressure air into an air passage 13b through a high- pressure air supplying pipe 16 and sucking air of an amount which is several times or more as large as that of the high-pressure air from an opening section 13a. |
