PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently form a uniform and homogeneous glass film or metallic film on the surface of an object to be covered with film such as ferrite core, etc. SOLUTION: An object 7 to be covered with film is put in a rotatable mesh- like container 2, and while rotating the container 2 in the direction of an arrow A, a misty glass slurry 6 (metallic slurry) is sprayed over the object 7 to form a glass coating film (metallic coating film) thereon. At the same time, a hot air is blown on the object 7 to dry the glass coating film (metallic coating film), thereby forming a uniform and homogeneous glass film (metallic film) on the surface of the object 7.
