<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signaling conversion system that makes conversion between ATM call connection information and PBX call connection information. SOLUTION: In a network where a caller private branch of exchange (PBX) and a called party PBX are connected via an ATM network, a CLAD is provided with a means that receives and analyzes call connection information from a caller PBX, with a means that converts the information after being analyzed into a correspond ATM network, with a means that receives and analyzes the call connection information from the ATM network, and with a means that converts the ATM address into a corresponding PBX selection signal after the analysis. Thus, the SVC connection in the ATM network is attained, the band usage efficiency in the ATM network is enhanced and the communication cost is reduced and also the information can be transmitted without deteriorating its voice quality.</p> |
