<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential camera terminal (2) that can detect a difference at high speed without the need for an exclusive circuit for difference detection, reduce the memory capacity required for the difference detection, and forms a difference area into a shape closer to a form of an object causing the difference so as to prevent a processing efficiency and a transmission efficiency from being graded even on the occurrence of a difference in an oblique direction in a rectangular image range. SOLUTION: The differential camera terminal is provided with a difference detection means that uses a DC component in a DCT coefficient generated by discrete cosine transform (DCT) so as to detect a difference between a real time image sequentially photographed by a camera (1) and a background image obtained by photographing a background in advance and outputs a position of the difference image.</p> |
