PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radioactive material dry storage facilities enhancing the shielding performance without lowering cooling performance. SOLUTION: This radioactive material dry storage facilitie 1 store radioactive material assembly generated from a nuclear power generation plant. This facility is constituted of a concrete building, and provided with the radioactive materials 2, a storage chamber 3 which stores the radioactive materials and has the external wall surrounding the radioactive materials and having the performance for shielding the radiation, an air intake port 4 incorporating an air for cooling the radioactive materials, and an air exhaust port 5 exhausting the cooled air, in its inside. The intake port 4 and the exhaust port 5 of the cooling air are constituted of two types of structures, a structure 6 having a radioactive shielding effect and a structure 7 constituting a cooling channel.
