PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure testing device of a pressure container constituted compactly and miniaturized as a whole as compared with a conventional pressure testing device, and capable of shortening the transfer distance of the pressure container in a work process to enhance work efficiency. SOLUTION: The pressure testing device of a pressure container is equipped with a water injection device 1 for injecting water in the pressure container A stood upright at a predetermined water injection position 5, a pressure measuring instrument 2 for measuring the pressure of the pressure container A in which water is fully injected, and a drain device 3 for discharging the water in the pressure container A stood upright at a predetermined drain position 6 after the measurement of pressure. A transfer device 20 is provided for hanging up the pressure container A with water fully injected at the water injection position 5 to transfer the same to the pressure measuring instrument 2, and hanging up the pressure container A after the measurement of pressure to transfer the same upright to the drain position 6. The water injection device 1 and the drain device 3 are constituted so as to be movable laterally from the water injection position 5 and the drain position 6 so as to avoid the interference with the transfer device 20.
