PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal type flowmeter, which can keep the sealing property of connection to the casing member of a lid covering an electric circuit housing part in the case of environmental change to which moisture and oil hardly penetrate from the outside, and of which measuring accuracy is hardly lowered. SOLUTION: In the casing member 2 in which a fluid flow passage is formed, a housing part 56 of a circuit board 60, in which an electric circuit for outputting electric signals corresponding to the fluid flow is formed, is formed. The electric circuit of the circuit board 60 is connected to a flow rate detection unit 4, in which electric characteristics are changed correspondingly to each of the fluid flow and the temperature of the fluid by heat transfer between the unit and the fluid, and to fluid temperature detection unit 6. The lid 64 is jointed to the casing member 2 with an adhesive so as to cover the housing part 56. The adhesive comprises a first adhesive 66 of silicone resin, and a second adhesive 68 of nitrile rubber that is arranged on the outside of the first adhesive 66 so as to shield the adhesive 66 from the outside.
