PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce product costs by reducing spark noise when starting spark discharge. SOLUTION: First and second gaps d1 and d2 are formed in the axial direction of an injection nozzle N by a pair of electrode rods 11 and 11 that project toward the front of the injection nozzle N. The electrode rods 11 and 11 generate spark discharge in the first gap d1, moves the generated spark to the second gap d2, and fires fuel from the injection nozzle N.
